Terms of Service

Welcome to MiniTavern Ultra (“the App”). Please read these Terms carefully. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to them. If you do not agree, stop using the App immediately.

1. Acceptance and changes

Using the App means you have read and accepted these Terms. We may update them via in-app notice or documentation. Continued use after updates means acceptance.

2. Service scope

The App provides AI chat / roleplay, character card create & import, BYOK access to third-party or local model APIs, lorebook / regex / persona options, and on-device storage with backup export.

The App does not sell hosted model compute; calls go to services you configure. Features such as third-party TTS plugins are outside this product’s scope.

We may adjust features for technical, legal, or force-majeure reasons and do not guarantee permanent availability or compatibility with every third-party API.

3. Your responsibilities

You must use the App lawfully; you are responsible for prompts, imported cards, and how you share generated content. If you use API keys, you bear leak/cost risk and must follow the provider’s policies.

4. Intellectual property

App code, UI, and marks belong to the developer. You retain rights to your own creations; ensure you have rights to any imported third-party cards. AI outputs may be subject to provider terms.

5. Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is.” We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free service, or accuracy/legality of AI outputs. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, third-party outages, or consequences of your misuse or missing backups.
